Smart Classroom Assistance

smart classroom collage Smart Classrooms create new opportunities in teaching and learning by integrating software applications, Internet resources, and audio-visual technologies. Each Smart Classroom is equipped with: a ceiling mounted projector, computer, LCD monitor, receiver, DVD/VHS player, and wall mounted speakers. Additionally, each computer has Microsoft Office 2007, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Windows Media Player, Apple Quicktime, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

We have assembled several resources for instructors to help explain how to use the equipment in the Smart Classrooms. Please browse through the materials below or contact one of the TIS trainers and request a one-on-one training session. Visit the workshop schedule page to find additional training opportunities.

Please note that the location of some of the device buttons explained (and shown) in the tutorials may vary slightly depending on the device model. However, the wording of the button is the same.
